LS7 Clutch

Picking up a Z28 today. Also have a guy locally who is selling an LS7 clutch kit for $300. Is that a good deal? How much HP can they hold? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mine held my 460rwhp+ just fine in my TA, and didn't chatter like some of the Monster, Spec, and Ram setups I've driven.

Hard to tell if it's a good deal or not. How much abuse has the clutch taken already? Is it out of the car already? Have you looked at the flywheel? pressure plate? clutch plate?

A LS7 is a nice clutch for street use and some track use. It is rated at 450 lb-ft of torque and has a stock like feel.

Ended up getting the clutch also. It is basically new! Said it came out of a Z06 with 90 miles and it looks it. Figured for the money I got a good deal on it.
