Just installed rear end off a 6 speed

It took my buddy and I about 5 hours to do the swap. After I did the swap I programmed the computer for the 3.42's with hypertech. But whats weird is that the car shifts at about 5000 rpms. Is it supposed to shift like that or do I have to mess with the shift points? I love the new gears, it even chirps the tires when shifting into 2nd at 5000 rpms. Also if I turn down the radio and drive very slowly I can hear a small noise coming from the right rear of the car. Should I be worried about this noise?

No its not a humming noise, I can't hear it when I'm stopped just when I'm moving slowly.
