    i wanted to know if the1998 ws6 trans am came with 273 gears from the factory.

    It could have been swapped out at some point. Having 2:73s wouldn't automatically mean it was not a true WS6.

    All WS6's equipped with an auto tranny came with 3:23's and manual trannies came with 3:42's. People do make changes though.
