ive had 2 ls1 cars with over 180k miles, both ran well, never had a problem out of them, and ran both of em at the loal track about every week. The 98 TA i had had 182k miles ran 11.50s on the gas, was still running strong when i sold it

hehe.. I found out the hard way the stock 10 bolt and transmission didn't like all the doughnuts I was doing... so it prob would still be ok had it not been for all that..

The longevity of a car will STRONGLY depend on how well it was maintained through it's life.

I sold my 3.8L Camaro last fall with 225K miles on it and it is still on the road. Can't speak first-hand on my 2002 SS as it only has 23K miles on it.
    It's on jackstands.
