High Pitch Tone From Rear

I have a high pitch tone coming from my rear... It only happens on really hot days and it temporarily stops when I turn left... Any ideas??? Also if I turn off the car and let it sit for awhile it wont be there when I turn the car back on... Its not coming out of the exhaust tips, but under the rear of the car...

sounds like fuel pump bearings to me. Mine used to do the same thing. It was very intermittent but when it did make a racket it was almost always on very hot days. Sounded like a small electric motor running or something like that. Very hard to describe the sound. Anyhow, from the time I first noticed it I ran the car another 3 years before replacing the pump and even then it wasn't bad. Just replaced it while I had the rear out.
