    2000 Trans Am

Got the money now need the help.

I already have the performance 3.42 axle in my trans am and am thinking of going 3.73. It is my daily driver would you recommend the 3.73 gears or 3.90 gears? And what brand would you suggest? Motive , Richmond, or something else?

He has an automatic, 4.10s would be a little overkill.

For a strictly DD I would go 3.73. For a car that sees the track I would go 3.90.

Well I didn't see where he said he had an A4. He said he had 3:42s which would indicate M6. If so you're right, he should go with 3:73s.

His sig says it's an A4, I assume he just grabbed an axle from an M6 car.

Now that I read the part about having 3.42s already, I'd almost say go right to 3.90s as 3.42 to 3.73 won't be a big difference.

The performance option for an auto is 3.23 he doesn't have 3.42s unless someone has already swapped gears which I doubt so 3.73s would be the way to go.
