10 bolts are a crap shoot. Not putting stickies and keeping the car from hooking hard will stack the odds in your favor. However, they are rather easy to break and it is hard to predict (luckily mine never did).

Honestly id stay with the 3.42's you have. The 4.10's is alot of gear for a car that has 420rwhp and even if you bog your motor in 2nd gear and let the rpms pick up you will start spinning those tires higher in the rpms and chirp it bad going into 3rd. Its very hard to resist doing WOT in 1st and 2nd with gears because thats were you feel the gears the most. Either way youll have people tell you dont worry youll be fine and others will tell you what i just said but after my 5th camaro and going through several gears 420rwhp and 4.10's is a bit much on the street. I know you want to get to the top of your rpms quicker and stay there longer because of your cam but youll be fine with the 3.42's with usable traction and a stronger rear end then the 4.10's

you make a very good point, but i really want gears because my car would wake up sooo much. i think im gonna go ahead and get the 4.10s and see how it works out, thanks for your honest opinion tho.... ill let you know how the traction issue works lol

Nope I run MT Streets at the track. 26.5" tall tire. I am right in the sweet spot at the line in 4th around 6550 RPM. (My rev limiter is at 6900)
