Ford 9" Rear, So what mods will I need to make?

So I am going with a Ford 9" Strange Case, 31 spline axels, Detroit TruTrac,4.11 gears and what not. What mods to the drive shaft etc will need to be made? Any info on the install would help me alot.

Just the yoke. The stock driveshaft will need the stock one removed and a 1350 yoke adaptor pressed in.

    Otherwise, that is about it.

If your car is lowered, you'll need the "hammer" mod. Clearance is a little tight where the torque arm bolts to the center section. My car is not lowered and I still had to adjust it slightly.

You may want to replace the factory torque arm, too. It is a weak link. I have seen pictures of stock touque arms bending less than a foot from the pinion. If that happens you may also loose a drive shaft.
    Drag racing...just another numbers game.

Agree with mr lous - that's about the only MUST do. You might want to look at LCA relocation brackets especially if your car is lowered. Also, don't forget your ABS setup if you're planning on keeping it. I went with about the same setup but from Moser and the spring cups (the things the rear spring sits around) are quite a bit taller than on the 10 bolt. Don't know about Strange and this shouldn't matter unless you have something like ground control rear springs since the adjusters will sit a lot higher and won't work on lowering your car - been there, done that. Exotic Performance Plus had a good writeup for the Moser 9 inch on their site when I did my install. Once again, not sure how different the Strange would be from the Moser.
