Drive Shaft Related Noise?
Noticed last night when I came up on a red light in neutral, with the radio off, I heard a click click noise.
Faint but definitely there.
It seemed to be in time with the drive shaft reducing rotational speed till I came to a stop.
Any ideas as to what is going on?

If you have an auto trans a quick way to tell is to put the car in drive with you foot on the brake, bring up the rpm's to about 2200 and let off quickly. This is also good for checking out motor mounts. For M6 trans I would put the car in the air and check the condition. Under normal driving you should get 75k out of a set of U-Joints. If you like to race then it's anyones guess. Good luck.

It's an M6.
I'll throw it up in the air this weekend to see.Be who you are and say what you feel 'cause people who mind don't matter, and people who matter don't mind.'
