Do I need a new driveshaft?

The Moser 12 bolt is installed and my final step is the driveshaft. With the car on its wheels, I have just over 5/8" of clearance between the head on the driveshaft front yoke and the back of the transmission. Realistically, there may be just a bit more as the head is dished. Do I need a shorter driveshaft to gain more clearance? In other words, is this a good excuse to order a PST, or can I run this one for now?

Not sure. But maybe you could remove your rear springs and jack the rear end up and down its full travel and see how that affects your clearance
