difference between 3 series and 2 gears
whats the difference between a 3 series and a 2 series ring gear and pinion set.i just bought a set of 3.73 which my car has 3.23 how can i tell the difference?

if i am correct 2 series had the 2.73 and the 3.23 gears and higher came with3 series in these cars , so i believe you have the 3 series. I could be wrong but i don't think I am

i believe you are correct. i think the 2.73 is series 2 and 3.23 is series 3.

does anybody know what the part # of the ring gear and pinion for a 3 series is?
