Ive took it all off and nothing. I noticed that on the side im tryin to push the axle in it looks like the seal is sticking out some (or something is) because there is a silver peice in there that is stoping the axle from going anymore in, I looked on the left side and it doesnt have it. I took this car to the shop once to get it replaced so I think the guy screwed it up or something because SOMETHING not sure if its the seal or what, but something is stickin out about 1/3rd of an inch and thats about all I need to push the axle back to get the C-clip out. THe only thing I can think of now to do is cut the C-clip... any advice? (I cant take a pic right now of it because im not with the car)

This is wierd cause my mechanic was having the same problem removimg one of the clips on my rear.
It turned out that some wise ass used the wrong axle bearing and then used the wrong clip that was too big so they ground it down a tad a then hammered her in there real good.Took him like half a day to get the axle pulled.

I know this is an old thread but wanted to add for those that lookand are still stuck:

If all else above fails take a racheting strap long enough to reach from one side of the wheel studs to the other. Hook each side on securly and start cranking. This will draw in the axles and hold them in long enough for you to get a screwdriver or needle nose in there and grap them. On one side I did have to crank down the strap and then tap with the above mentioned BFH then another couple clickes on the racheting strap and the clearence was there for the C Clamp to drop out.
