Clutch Issue

Just bought a 2000 Trans Am WS6 with 52k original miles. Indigo blue ram air, slp exhaust, LT headers, slp clutch, slp air box, and richmond 4:10 gears in the rear end. will post pics soon. ok the issues ive noticed. Clutch pedal sticks about 3/4 of the way down sometimes(more often then not) and when it does it will engauge very suddenly. Im thinking the slave cylinder might be going out if not out already. any advice on other things to check would be appreciated. the other issue i noticed was a clunk sound when i tap the gas going down the road. it sounds like maybe a shock is bad maybe the strut tower is loose. I was also thinking mabe something in the rear end wasnt bolted tightly. torque arm maybe. i havent had a chance to get under it yet to inspect anything cuz of tremendous down pour here in florida. Any advice or ideas is greatly appreciated and will be looked into

Definately sounds like a clutch hydraulics issue. I'd recommend replacing the master cylinder with a Tick adjustable master, and slave cylinder. First, you might try bleeding the system of air, before replacing parts.

As for the clunking noise, I'd check the exhaust to see if it's hitting. Quite common. After that, check the torque arm and suspension for tightness, worn bushings, ect.
