    Clutch Choice

I recently blew up my Spec stage 3 clutch. I have been doing more research on different options for clutches. I am not sure what clutch to go with. I liked the spec 3 okay but it blew up on me after about 7,000 miles. It was hard street racing and drag time. The car was never driven easy.

The more I read the more I have seen people complaining about the stage 3 blowing up. I am def. not getting another stage 3. I was thinking about getting a 2+ or a 3+. I only have bolt on's to my lt1 so not that much power. I need to get a new clutch but which one. Also, I bought specs solid steel fly wheel if I get a different clutch will I have to get a new fly wheel.

    Thanks for the input.

Centerforce Dual Friction and you do not need another flywheel

yo, Z, where were you when it blew? I'm looking onto a Spec Stage 2 for my car, plus my clutch pedal is very weak when getting on it, (drill mod perhaps) but is that for the Master or Slave Cylinder?

I was actually getting a picture of my car for the LS1 calendar. I was doing a burn out for the shot. When I got out of it and tried to go it would not go back in gear. BTW I am the black camaro on the very front of the LS1 calendar.

It could be one of the cylinders. It is all one piece so no matter which one it is you have to replace both. not a huge purchase though. A friend of mine who works in a part dept. for a GM dealer can get the part for $143.
