Mine is slipping like crazy, can barely hold it on a hill or driveway. She is reving like 3200 just to get moving from a stop, like I a have a high stall torque convertor. Sucks ass.

I read a coupe other threads and it sounds like 45k-55k miles is what most guys are getting out of their clutch. (non racing applications)

Navy Blue Metallic- `98 Formula M6 HdTp
I don't know what to tell you guys but I'm at 128K miles on my Original clutch.
DD with 300+ Street runs and 30+ Track passes. Although it has been abused it never see's anywhere upwords of 3000rpm drops. Last couple times at the track after a few runs it would slips in 3rd and 4th so It hasn't been back since. Clutch grabs about 1-2" from the top of the pedal travel although it still pulls well and doesnt slip in higher gears on the street I know it's about done.
Will be getting LS7/LS2 Combo with all new Hydraulics when it finally gives up.Craig

Clutches...
I know there will be sceptics out there, but I bought my '98 T/A WS6 M6 new in '98, and as of last October, right before I flipped it 7 times, I had 152K on the original, stock, from the factory clutch. Went through 4 rearend rebuilds, but the clutch was still hooking up with perfect pedal feel and travel.

NOTE TO SELF-- do not resurface the flywheel. I had my flywheel resurfaced and although it works fine, the paddle only engages at the very bottom. Manly because the clutch has to reach further. Oh well, next time
On the plus side, I had a new Spec stage 2 pressure plate and flywheel balanced together. Spec said they came blanced from the factory but my last one was really noisy. So send it to the shop and it came back all tuned up. Installed it over the weekend and not a chrip. My reco is to have the your clutch assemble balanced.
