Broken clutch fork... symptoms?
What is the clutch fork and what would the symptoms be if it were bad or not installed properly?

Your pedal would most likely feel like it has no resistance when you push it, and may even stay down. The clutch would never disengage, so if you tried to start the car in gear it would try to lunge, or if you started it in neutral, you wouldn't be able to get it in gear. These could also be symptoms of a bad slave or master cylinder.

If you had it apart and it went back together, then it certainly isn't installed incorrectly. It sure is a PITA!
