But Ed.....KC is convinced that you MUST get a 9". There's just no getting around that.

I was getting ready to order the S60. But the vendor is drop shipping it and has no idea if my BMR parts will work. So I don't expect too much support from them for this rear.

So now I am thinking about the 9" again and maybe the MWC 9"

    Time for more research.......

i say go with the 9 inch. It's my goal. in fact.... given the cash and time i'd be getting the M9 with 4.11's LCA reloc brackets built in, with the matching DS. pairing it up with on car adjustable LCA's and a Watts link in place of the PHB. naturally a DS safety loop and TA would be in the cards.... and since it's the only part left back there.... well why not go for the sway bar too.... but every time I get down and ready to do all that I wake up and realize everyone in my office is standing around my desk because I fell asleep and started snoring.....

    again....

    j/k

but i would love all that stuff. I say go for the M9

The M9 is nice, I couldn't bring myself to spend the extra money on it though. I like the MWC one now that I've taken a little more look around, nice piece, parking brake brackets welded on and some other minor details that are nice.

There were a few "unexpecteds" with the 9", swaybar, brakets, DA LCA's... now that it's done, it's fawk'n great! I hit the track friday night for T&T

Nope, nothing wrong with a 9" rearend assembly....just a guy making 15 posts about why Ed should buy one.

Now about your self proclaimed 9".....I'll need said ladies to provide proof of satisfaction.

I have ruled out the M9 and MWC. I already have a TA and what I have heard is it will transfer alot more noise.

So its back to the 9" and S60. I think they have added most of those options to the 9", so the installed won't be as bad.

I like the 9" I am just trying to justify the extra $$$. It's about a $600 difference.

i know with BMR adj. torque arms a little modification is needed at the top plate of the bracket if you want to use the inner most holes. not that it will = $600 of your time or labor...but something to think about. I have also herd that the way the torque arm mounts to the s60 is odd and could become a point of failure. So i would research that before you make the buy.

in all honesty ..the only thing the s60 has going for it is the price. it is overkill on 99.99% of builds and does nothing that the 9" cant do.

And that is the only reason I am looking at the S60...$$$

I forgot about the DS, the difference is closer to $300

Funny how I am ready to buy, and I cannot get a hold of any vendors.

Why wouldn't it work? From my understanding the watts link attaches to the stock mounting points for the PHB and the lateral links that locate the rear attach via bolt on clamps that go around the axle tubes on the rear.

Locker is the only way I'd go with the 9'. Can't put a locker in my 12 bolt or I'd have one. The posi is usually what fails in the 12 bolts and they break in 9's too. Trust me I know a few guys with spools in their 12 bolts and they don't break w/ the spool.

oh i understand. but for a street people shy away from the spool, that is why the wavetrac is looking amazing..if you can get over the price
