    back with old clutch

So at 110K miles I put a monster stage 1 clutch in with a tick master cylinder. At 125K and driving in traffic its wearing my leg out and I want to install the old one back in. My intent is to use the original GM pressure plate, monster flywheel and tick master cylinder. Couple of questions:
    1. Is this a bad idea
    2. Can I mix and match parts or.
    3. Will the monster flywheel work with the GM pressure plate

How come you cant buy just the stock clutch disc? The disc mfg's claim the pressure plate is self adjusting, thats why they are sold in kits. Not sure if i believe that.

I would not put the original back in. Just how many miles were on it?

Monster stg 1 is about close to stock, their stg 2 is = to a LS7 clutch kit. I daily their stg4 in mine and with no leg issues and I'm seriously disable in both legs.

I had the LS7 clutch before this one. Needed to upgrade cause of current and future mods. The LS7 I believe is the OEM replacement now for all LS1 T56 transmissions for F Bodies.

What is the bore size of the MC. I have a tic also and its hell to push the pedal. I heard the 1/2 bore is too small and you need a 3/4 bore to easy up on the pedal.

Honestly I have no idea and the only way to check is pull my mc. You can check with Tick, see if they will tell you. I suspect it's the same size as the OEM MC cause when I did a side by side comparison they seem to have the same size hydraulic hose form the MC to the Slave.

Did you make any pedal adjustments to the TC MC? I've read that if you make to sever adjustments or incorrectly the MC can have issues.
