Alright thanks for the replies guys. I really hope I have it this time. This little issue has turned into a big headache as you all know.

Couple more days and I'll have an update. Will be cleaning the gear oil off the calipers, brakes, and wheel tonight.

Wheel, brakes, rotor, caliper, and backing plate are all cleaned off. I crawled under the car and it was quite obvious there was a vent Drivers side axle tube as stated and there is a rubber hose that is connected to the vent that runs up towards the gas tank and zip tied down.

I plan on driving it today after work. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well I took her out Wednesday and after 12 miles I pulled over and noticed gear oil on the rim. So I drove it home and parked it frustrated.

Few hrs later after being pissed and thinking about it more I came out to the garage and looked at the wheel and there was no puddle of gear oil at the bottom of the rim like in the past....

So, I thought to myself, maybe there was gear oil in the axle bearing that leaked out from when it was leaking before since there wasn't much on the rim.

I cleaned the wheel this morning after washing the car and took it out for a 4 hour cruise...got on it a fair share of times. No gear oil on the wheel.

I swear I almost had tears in my eyes when I saw it wasn't leaking anymore!

I hope it stays good to go. Thanks to everyone for your help.

My birthday is tomorrow so this was a great gift.

Im pulling for you on this one Jon. Cant imagine the amount of frustration involved. I had to replace my drivers side once and that was enough for me considering the amount of money we dump into these rear ends.

Hope it holds and never gives you a problem again!

I used RTV around the sealed tapered bearing too... not just the axle seal
