Axle Bearing Replacement / Seal Separate?

I just picked up a bearing (Timken) from Autozone and the seal is part of the bearing. I've been in there before and replaced them and could have sworn the seal is separate. The part # is TRP1563TAV.

    Can anyone verifiy this?

    Is this what you got?

that's a repair bearing you only need that if you have a bad axle surface. Like this was my bad axle.

the repair bearing relocates were the bearings will ride making it possible to re use the bad axle.

those dummies don't know how to look for the part. they have to look for "rear bearing" instead of axle shaft bearing. it happens to me all the time.

The bearing and seal come separate.
these are the Timken part numbers:

    5707 bearing
    8660S seal

Just go and tell them you need those parts.
I buy from autozone and i just did my bearings. I didnt like the repair bearing. After 4 months the seal started to leak. I got an used axle for $30 and put a new bearing and seal.

Is kinda weird that the bearing says made in USA but the seal says Taiwan...

I hear a lot stories about those repair axle bearing seals leaking. Couldn't you put alittle rtv on the seal also when installing the new bearing just for alittle extra sealing since they always leaks. Would that help?
