A4 Dumped Fluid at Fill Tube
Had a bad alternator. Replaced! Start car and siting watching the volt meter when I hear a bad sounding noise.
I immediately shut car off. Start looking around under car and every bit of trans fluid is in a huge puddle under car.
It looks as though it may have come from around where the fill tube runs into the trans.
No small leak. I'm talking every bit of fluid dumped in a matter of 5 to 10 seconds.
Am I screwed?

did the engine get hot for any reason. it could be the tube popped out of the hole it sits in. if that happens, yes the fluid will be pushed out.
