It is not the m9 casing it is their own design. Eric is the owner and the designer I have a midwest 9 in my ride. Best 9" out there and it is only a couple hundred more than a moser 9" plus it comes with its own chromoly TA.

IF your talking Midwest Eric offers short or long TA's. His price is 2700 with the third member and it goes up from there.

I've decided to go with the Exotic Peformance 9" with 4.11's and a Spohn trans mounted adjustable torque arm. I emailed Bob with a couple questions and had a response in about 1 hour. Great customer service so far and free shipping!!

Anyone have any gripes thus far with the 9" install. I don't fully understand the need for muffler clamps to relocate sway bar... anyone?

Mine was fairly easy to install. The reason for the muffler clamps is that the axle tubes are larger for the 9". You will also have to figure out a way to adapt the stock mounts to work with the new clamps (or get a sway bar kit). The way that I made mine work was to cut open the stocker's hole and than use washers and aluminum shims to fill in the gaps.

Thanks for the feedback... I guess I'll find out when it's on the lift and the new axle is in place. If you dont mind me asking, what torque arm did you go with after the install?

    Ok, so I bought a 9" rear 3.70.

I got a new Panhard bar, UMI SFC's, LCA's, Swaybar, and some Qa1 shocks.

Can you guys think of anything I might want to do while I have the rear end out?

I went ahead and changed my fuel pump while I had the rear out. Was very easy to drop the tank since I have dumps and there was no rear end to avoid.

We usually weld up the brackets for the factory type control arms. As most are just stitch welded. It will add some rigidness to have them fully welded after welding in the SFC's.
Also I would add any sleeving for the fuel lines now while the cars up in the air.
