9" rear and ABS
not sure if this is more of a suspension question or tuning so mods feel free to move if you feel its necessary
OK, I've been looking into upgrading my factory rear to a ford 9" and I came across a couple questions:
1) can anyone suggest a good place to get the rear from, I have found a few and think some are over priced and others that are not so knowledgable about the needs of installing one on a f-body.
2) one vender I have been in contact with stated that "building the rear to accept the factory 3 channel ABS would almost double the cost of the rearend but if it was a 4 channel the upgrade cost would only be $200". so with that being said is it possible/ cost effective to upgrade a 3 channel to a 4 channel? or is it possible/ smart to tune out the rear ABS and just have the ABS run the front 2 wheels?
thanks for any info and feel free tp PM any vendor infor or personal exp. you might have
