4.11's to much for a MS cam?

So my boy ordered the MS4 camshaft and now hes deciding which gear to put into the Moser 9". I said go for 4.11's but do you think that would be steep gearing for the MS4 cam which is a very high reving cam. No doubt he will lose low end power so the 4.11's should make up for any low end power/loss, but once the car revs up, do you think he would run out of gear very quickley once he reaches his sweet spot?

4.11 is the least he should be thinking about. 4.30 would be a better gear IMO for any MS series cam.

Depends on what hes doing. In the 1/4 mile and stock size tires he will be crossing the line close to 7000 RPM. A 28" tall tire would help greatly at the track. Otherwise, I wouldnt thinking twice about 4.30 and a MS cam.
