You just need the gears (Motive is fine), the basic install kit, and two quarts of 80/90 gear oil. Check thunder racing. You may want the SLP paddle kit as well for 4:10s.

What is the SLP paddle kit? What does it do? I was thinking of doing 4:10s, I am also getting a list of things together I will need. I was going to get a TA cover not sure but you might want to put that on your list 2001ws6.

http://speed-eng.com/store/slp-paddl...l?osCsid=46fbc It's not necesarily necesary, you can use a bench grinder to grind down the stock one. It won't fit back in the way it is. (found that out the hard way)

You do not need the paddle kit unless you have a Torsen differential. What differential do you have?

I believe in 99 that only Firehawks had the option of the Auburn, you prolly have the Torsen (one or the other). I still wouldn't pay the money for that SLP paddle kit tho.

Does anyone have a pic of a paddle that isn't ground and a pic of a ground paddle. I have access to mills and grinders. I just need to see what kind of work is involved in grinding your own paddles.

Sorry, I kind of jacked your thread 2001WS6 with my paddle kit questions. I did find a good write-up done buy a tech. I has everything you will need to do the swap and step by step directions.
