3.73 gears on a th350

i have a parts 79 z28 equiped with a 3.73 posi rear end. im wanting to swap the rear ends but im wondering if i will get much more power out of it. im not toooo concerned about gas milage, well kinda butm gas ilage sucks anyways

Power increase should be noticeable. Gas mileage wont hardly suffer at all, if at all. A good mod to do for better acceleration. The only thing that could effect power (on the high end)/gas mileage would be how the tranny is geared. May drop the top end speed down some - dunno how high you run it.
