sold: 1999 firebird- 1998 Trans Am
3.42 gears on an A4.
have a buddy wanting to buy an LT1 with 3.42 gears installed, probably stolen from a base 6 speed car, can anyone tell me waht kind of rpms he'll be running on the highway(70mph) i'm not firmiler with autos or gear ratios

I know there is a site that does the calculations for you, just giving you an idea

To calculate the MPH and RPM, use this calculator. I think the stock tire diameter is 25.6"
4L60e ratio are
1st 3.06
2nd 1.75
3rd 1.00
4th 0.70
