    273s to 373s?

Everyone says for an auto LS1 you need 373s in the rear. Anyone out there actually done it? How big of a differance did it make? Acceleration and gas...... I am starting the "Beefing up" process of my Hugger Ls1

Nice to see another hugger z28!!! Stalls offer huge gains but I would not run them in a DD because they slip and I hate that feel. If you are looking to go fast for a few races and retain good driveability get a 150 of nos. You will be looking at high 11 and its only 300 bucks.

I know a ton of people with stalls in their daily drivers and love them, ask around..by far the best bang for your buck

to have a N2O system installed with all the proper shut offs and safty needs it will be about $1,500.00 all said and done... unless you do it your self... and you can't get ant kit like taht for $300.00 you still need to buy safty accessories...

Bro, you got riped off man. All the safty accessories are really kinda silly unless you are a real hard core drag racer and need consistency every single pass. I use the kit listed below configured for a 150 shot and it works great!!. I am not a real searious drag racer so my saftey is useing street tires so I am above 3000 RPM when I go full throtle. I still manage a pull of 11.90's with this set up and a lid and cat back exhaust so you can defentaly do it and its safe at least for my 20 passes a year. car has 24.000 miles and still going strong.

I like leather better but the GM leather they use in these cars is really cheap and starts to look bad real fast and gets real hot in summer and cold in winter so im glad mine has cloth. Eather way for 8 Grand and 24,000 miles I could not pass up on the deal.

yes if you put 3:73s in a A4 it will make one hell of a difference. my previous car was a 1993 z28 A4 with 3:42s and when i went to 3:73s it was crazy. you will definitely need drag radials. i went with mickey thompson ET streets and a 2100 stall. i wish i would have got a different converter with like a 3500 stall. but overall for an A4 it is awesome going to 3:73s but like my 99SS has a M6 and im going from 3:42s to 4:10s today!

i would have went with a bigger stall because it could have came out of the hole alot harder than what it did because i had drag radials. the SS that i have now is a t-top.

I have a 3200 stall and 373s and they go along beautifully with my daily driven MT drag radials It is just an awesome feeling to be able to launch that hard in an automatic.

I went to my local speed shop and they recomended a 2200 stall because if I did anything higher then it would feel sloppy just driving around town until I hit the 3200 or so rpms....thoughts?

Stay away from that shop. I'd go atleast 3,600.
