Midwest Chassis Fabbed 9" with your choice of gear.

Will you be installing everything yourself?

I just glanced at all the different parts and am guessing roughly $2500 doing it yourself. I may have missed something. That was for the housing, axles/hubs, center section with ring & pinion and seals.

Midwest has received a lot of praise and is a well built piece. A lot of people prefer it over the Moser.

If you use an auto then a 12 bolt is fine. 12 bolt will work for a six speed if you run a spool in it otherwise I'd go 9 inch w/Detroit Locker.

A Detroit Locker won't be very street friendly will it? I don't know if his build is for street or strictly strip.

To the OP, 12 bolt is usually suggested with an auto like above mentioned....but just keep in mind that the 9" is stronger.

Well the Eaton posi or True Trac is typically what breaks in a 12 bolt/9 inch. Getting a 9 inch with a posi would kind of "negate" some of its benefits. If I were to get a 9 it'd definaetely have the locker.
