Trouble starting when Hot
I have a 92 Chev 7.4 ltr ext cab 5 spd 4x4 1 ton
When driving in hot weather or pulling passes with a camper & boat behided
when the engine is turned off and i go to start it ,nothing no click just like the battery is dead .
I changed the starter 3 years ago when this all began.
After that didnt seem to work i took it to the dealer they blamed it on the security key i had installed on it when new ,it was removed.
just in the last month i changed the battery cables and put a new battery in.
It always seams to start after i disconect the battery lead and reconect it after it cools a while.
Any ideas or sugestions on what to do next.
Thank You
Dwight
