Trailblazer Power?
Can I get more power out of my 05 Trailblazer 6 cylinder?
Kinda on a budget, yet not really. Just dont want to spend thousands on it to do so. I know there are induction kits, but never really looked into them. Which ones are the best? Are they a waste of time/money? What other good mods should i use? plugs? wires? pulleys? throttle body? exhaust? would be willing to do exhaust, but dont want it to sound like a ricer or anything bad. if I could modify exhaust without sacrificing the sound quality, that would be best.
Please advise!
Thanks,
Billy

I can use some help on the trailblazer also. My wife has one and it runs pretty good and decent mileage for 4x4. Just would like to have a little bit more low end power. I have read about some tune from north carolina. Do not remember the name.

look into gear sets for them, i dont know what ratio you have but check into it, other than that, the motor is a v6 so power gains are limited. get a cold air intake and headers if they make them, and get a flowmaster to keep the sound level down. also call crane or comp cams to see if ther is a good cam for it, and look for places to get it dyno tuned, not a hand programmer

They make extremely good power but are torque managed to death. My wifes Bravada was sluggish until it started to rev, knowing that inline sixes, especially one with VVT should make good torque, I had a pcm customized for it. It's awd and will smoke the tires now! We built a mandrel bent low restriction 2.5" exhaust for it. It will hide from a 5.3 stock TrailBlazer now.

Go with the pcm4less tune. It rocks.
I had it done on my 05 Colorado and it feels like a 6 cyl now vs 5.
They are torque managed to death.
I had the pcm on my 04 Trailblazer done and now it will light up the tires from a take off. Before it wouldn't even do it in the rain. Before reflashing you could floor it from standstill and feel the pcm gradually give power till its full throttle. Now it's instant. Also they change the shift timing and pattern to feel soo much better.
