    trailblazer fuel pump?

I went on a camping trip a while ago and had to go through quite a bit of mud to get to our spot. when i got in the TB to leave it did not start. after calling some friends and doing some troubleshooting it appeared to be the fuel pump.
i replaced it...same problem. you still can not hear the fuel pump. I think I have to pull the pump back down and check the wires (wish i had done that the first time). Any other suggestions would help alot it is getting frustrating.

double check the simple stuff first --- swap relays in the fuse panel (use the a/c or whatever else uses the same relay ) did you bench test the old pump ? (just find the power and ground wires and hook to a battery)
