Swapping Engines - 94 Blazer and 97 Suburban
If I'm swapping the engines in a 94 Blazer and 97 Suburban (both 350, I believe they're the same engine) are there any catches? I.E. I'd need to transfer the computer also.

The only similiarity is the fact the lower half of the motor is the same. The 97 suburban is a multiport and the 94 is TBI. The intakes, distributor, injection, and induction are all different. If you did entire harness swap with the computer, you should be ok. The sensors may be different though between the motors and your gauges may not work, not sure about that part.

If you swapped out the short block portion, you could certainly use it. Just a lot more work is all.
