Silverado trim discoloration
3 of the 4 trim pieces on my 2003 Silverado are discolored. I went to the dealer to ask if GM would cover this. I haven't gotten an answer yet, but I'm an expecting a "no."
I think the Avalanche is having the same problem.
Does anybody know of a fix?
Thanks.

Black on Black on Black- 2002 Camaro SS Vert
Couple of questions on your problem. What is the 'in service' date on your truck? Or when did you buy it? Also how many miles? Depending on the answer you could ask the dealer to provide 'good will' and warranty the moldings. Another thing to look at is: do any of them have a bubble spot on the moldings? If so there is a GM tech bulliten to replace them. I think the number is 0408111002. The problem here was that GM never removed a one inch sticker on the back of the moldings before installing at the factory. Over time there would be a bubble and this was from the elements getting between the sticker and the door paint. I had this problem on my suburban and had all 4 replaced.
