Rough Country 2.5" suspension lift
Just ordered my 2.5" lift from Rough Country. Not bad considering to my door it was just over $160.
The kit has spacers for the strut on both the upper and lower mounts. Then has a taller block for the rear. So this should level it off as well as lift it up a little bit. I didn't want to go crazy with it, since this is my DD, and I didn't want to dive head first into new wheels / tires if I went any larger, so this is a nice subtle solution.
I almost went with the RC 3.5", but I read so many mixed reviews that it scared me away from it. If I want to go any bigger, I'll just get the Rancho 4" with the crossmember drop and Rancho shocks, so my suspension doesn't prematurely wear out. Plus that kit is badass.
I plan on keeping my stock tires / wheels and the only thing that I will have to do after I install, is get an alignment.
Once I get the kit delivered, I'll take some before and after shots.

Look forward to some before/after shots
i wouldn't want a dd too high anyways, too much of a pain to climb in and out of all day

I got a true 2.5" out of the front, and 1" out of the rear difference from stock. Haven't driven it yet, but I am pleased with the looks.

Looks good! Should give you better break over angle than when she was stock height for wheeling too..

I toyed with the idea of leveling mine but i could still run a larger tire and not have to deal with torsion bars and keys also after towing the boat and camper im kinda glad i didnt

hopefully at some point when those tires are done you'll go to 285's.....they make a pretty big difference. I agree that it's hard to toss perfectly good tires. I sold my old rims/tires to make back some of the money for the new stuff. I measured before and after to the bumper and if memory serves me correctly got ~4" out of 285's and cranking the bars. I didn't crank them all the way....just enough to clear the tires.

wish I could get my truck that clean again
how it sits now in current form during hunting season. Most of the mud has washed off in the rain but you get the idea
