I put a 60 behind my 6.0 swap in the blazer (the 80 wouldn't fit) But I threw everything available at the 60, billet parts (front drum), hardened shafts (keep it clean guys ) Red Alto clutches and colleen steels, 5 pinion planet, beast shell etc......all in hopes of it lasting a while. Should hold about 600 HP which seems to be about the 60's limit. So far so good. Heavy vehicles are hard on parts.

It's only putting 300-320hp through the tranny up here. It isnt stressing it.

I'm a mile up too, but I take no chances. I build it once and done. I do however drive down to the valley quite often, feels like the cars gain 100 HP. It's night and day how they run at sea level vs 5,000 feet. Our drag strips are down there too.
I probably didn't mention I have a maggy in the future though

I would rather keep my motor in one piece....

Dropped the TBSS off at the dealer yesterday for GM covered paintwork....the rocker panels are getting re-painted along with the rear doors. Just hoping this shop matches that red well....
Once I get it back, I am going to start looking to get stuff installed.

It ends in a few days.
Powertrain is still there, but not too worried about that one. Tranny goes, it just gets built.

Sonnax kit was more of a bitch to install than expected, but it is in. Shifts MUCH better now under power. Quick and effective.
    Stall is a blast.
Sounds great with the longtubes as well, and pulls nicely for the size. Just a couple loose ends to tie up and wrap up the tune now that the 150 mile Yank break in is over.

That sucks... I got a CAI / muffler delete AWD TBSS into the 13's here. Granted it was a 13.99, but still.

That's pretty quick for nose bleed territory Nothing to sneeze at. Easily a second quicker at sea level (slightly more possibly).

Are you still under a blanket of snow up there?

    Was 75+ all last week....
    Mountains are DRY this season.
Little chilly yesterday and today, only mid-40's.

Apparently with this set of mods they tend to average 12.80-13.00 at sea level. Some quicker, some a touch slower.

    A few things...
WOT tune isn't complete. Still a little left there. Hoping to get that wrapped up this weekend...
5400 feet up, certainly isn't going to appear fast.
    5000 pound vehicle as well.
Angles suck....was just me with the kiddo in the backseat (who you will hear lol).
Kooks 1 7/8" longtubes with cats, stock catback with a Magnaflow muffler and no resonator.

First clip is exhaust, second is just punching it from a dig, third is brake stalling it, fourth is a brake stall from outside, fifth punch from a dig, sixth is driving around.
