So what is the speed limited to, 95 mph? It sure didn't seem to want to go any faster.

It is a 2010 4 wheel drive crew cab with the Z71 appearance package on it. that means that it has the 18x8" rims and P265/65R18 tires. I don't see a speed rating on the tires, in fact I don't even see the max pressure rating on the tires. It has the 5.3 engine, 6 speed auto and 3.42 axle.

It seemed kind of odd, just push the accelerator peddle to the floor and hit a solid stop. My Firehawk with the 6 speed manual, I kind of ease into the gas peddle after dropping two gears, then shift before it hits the red line.

Yes they are factory limited. The 5.3 is plenty potent enough to achieve greater speeds once the limiter is lifted.

99MPH is the fuel cut off.

whenever i took rentals from my dealership too go too texas i would have it WOT all the way too the boarder. and set cruise at 98 lol gogo rentals!
