    Unhappy 02 Tahoe Fuel Question

I have an 02 Tahoe and for a while now when the fuel gauge reads around 1/4 tank or less it takes a little longer to start. Now today the Service engine soon light came on had it scanned it says both codes are "running lean". Could these two problems be related? And any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks in advance!!!

I'd check the fuel pressure...your pump could be going out or the fuel filter could need replacement.

I replaced the filter a while back. I got it from O'Reillys I believe it is a Wix, this truck has the flex fuel, would it be better to put a GM fuel filter back on it?
