So I think a root canal with zero numbing would be funner then dealing with Sprint and DirectTV Customer Service right now.

We did an upgrade and they are still charging me for the previous phones plus the current one and for a line that was terminated too. That's about $250 on my bill then I should be paying.

And DirectTV must have Comcast Customer Service Reps cause they are trying everything to keep me from dropping 2 Premium Channels that we don't watch anymore. They made that call last 30 mins longer then it should have.

Basic plus cable. No bullshit. Maybe watch 5 or 6 of the 80 odd channels. We do have a fire stick now and that lets me watch movies and Grand Tour episodes.

Does everyone else have a ton of Spanish channels that are included with basic cable?

Not a one. Two newest channels are Tennis (wtf?) and BBC America - which is actually kind of cool.

Picked up the new ride yesterday. It'll go up in the air today to install the splash guards, swap out the floor mats, and I have to finish getting all the electronics configured. I'll order a trunk mat as well. There are two different configurations and I was not sure which one fit the car when I ordered the floor mats.

    Yes!

Except we don't have cable out here. Dish or Direct TV only.

Let's talk wheel spacers just a minute. Was thinking about some for the truck because I'm not a fan of my offset on my wheels. I started reading and quickly ran into hub centric and stud centric debates. It's something I've never really thought about I guess but are all acorn style lugs stud centric....as in pretty much every GM I've owned the last 20 years? I haven't looked at my wheels that close to see how they sit on the hub. How much of the weight is being carried by that hub vs of the lugs carry them I wonder? I know for some reason hub centric spacers are hundreds of dollars vs about $50 for non hub centric. I don't want spacers bad enough to risk sheering studs off so I'm not going to get any but it is something I'd like to learn more about. There's alot of conflicting information out there.

Went to one of my salvage yards looking for a replacement air dam for the Grand Prix, walked out with a supercharger, fuel rail, heads and the air dam. The cashier agreed it was a "intake manifold", paid $40 for it

Only reason I got the heads too was because I read that the heads for the SC 3.8 have a different angle on the intake side so that the SC's lower manifold will fit. I gotta read up again on the stuff. But even if I don't do this I can get $250 for the SC.

Also my bitch with DirectTV was I could online add any program package I want or down grade, add any premium channels but when it comes to cancelling one of those channels you have to call in.

The hub centric spacers will do more to keep the wheel centered on the hub. That way you don't have any vibration. If you are doing truck wheels I would go with the hub centric spacers.

I don't see me doing any really. I'm not paying that much for spacers to get hub centric and not sure I would trust the cheaper ones as far as studs breaking. Wish I would've just got a different offset on my wheels.

I need hubcentric spacers for the '40. Even though it has run without them for 20 or so years, I will feel better having them.
