Plan was to liberate a few cars from the building this weekend, but I think Mother Nature has other ideas. Ugh.

I mowed at the office last night - it was basically a field out front after almost 2 weeks of being away. I had to go slow and back track in quite a few places. Ended up burning almost twice as much gas as usual down there.

I hope this isn't another summer where every weekend is shitty weather. I fucking hate rain.

So summer has arrived. Hot as Satan's ball sack here. Had rain last night, could use more though. My grass is brown and I'm a cheap bastard to water it.

This 97 FB going to be some work. I looked it over this morning and the car has been sitting a long while.

    So far -

Carpet and rag top need replaced. Seats need a really good cleaning. Everything inside needs a good wipe down.
Needs a complete coolant flush. Was getting some black foam but it cleared out after a bit, not sure what that's from. Oil is clean and clear. Transmission fluid too. I know the t stat is dead so that's a priority.

AC needs attention too. Don't know what's going one there, will investigate it later.

No knocking, back fire, or smoke form the exhaust. Throttle response is crisp.

And the wife isn't happy I'm rescuing another f body

Never had an issue with ticks in our area growing up. Bastards are everywhere now.

So, I see that all my pics are back up in threads. I received an email indicating that my pics on Photobucket have all been "released", but did not have time to read it. Is this a permanent change or a temporary tease?

New exhaust showed up today... BBE with black oval tips. I'll try to get some pics of the car after the install.

Most recent pic with Forgestar CF5's. I think I'm starting to like this car more than my blue C5.

Some pics from our Alaska trip:

Saw lots of wildlife on this trip -- around 18 moose, countless eagles, 30 or so Dall sheep, a lynx, and a coyote. Two of the moose were within 50 yards of my brother's house.

well, bit the bullet. finally found a decent, low hour used subcompact tractor in my price range. went yesterday and picked it up. 2007 Massey Ferguson gc2300. 23hp 3cyl diesel with a 60" cut deck not in the picture. only has 330 hours on it.

Title, fill rear, fill cooling system, proportioning valve, flush fuel system and pass inspection is all that's left I think. Gonna try and make a push on it after our vacation

I been on camper duty all week. Getting all the maintenance done for the summer. What a shit ton of work that always is. The ends justifies the means though....my camper looks as good today as it did 8 years ago when we bought it. Lots of work but worth it.
