What the hell is this? Found it in my radiator. I've never seen a rubber gasket like this on a radiator cap before.

Not sure but I can almost guarantee you'll have to pull the engine or transmission to fix it

Almost looks like a ring from around the opening of a plastic bottle. But if it's rubber I dunno. I mean knowing your car this will lead to all new coolant plumbing.

Someone decided to key the side of the T/A within the last couple days..... fortunately, whoever the jackass was, they either weren't strong enough or too cowardly to really dig deep, so hopefully we can have most of it buffed out....hopefully. The car has been parked under the carport this entire time, so they had to have come into my yard to do it. Time for surveillance cameras I guess...

On a 'lighter' note, sockets for the DRL/turn signal lamps came in today. Rock Auto saved my wallet quite a bit over the box stores. $7.86 per socket vs. $35 from O'Reilly's, same exact part and manufacturer.

Keying cars is a specific offense. Needs a specific punishment.

Cameras are cheap as shit. There is a brand called "nest" that I use.

Nest is one on my current list, they have some pretty cool features and wireless setups. I've seen some other full DVR/4 camera sets that are pretty cheap as well.
We'll see what my budget can allow.

Look at Trail cameras too. They can even record video in HD and work in the dark without giving off a flash.

Prepped the '40 last night for a ride to the garage today. Inspection sticker expired 8/16, so just a bit overdue. We'll see if any of the new Troopers catch it on the ride over.
