Lurking Bavarian...
It's been a LONG time since I've been on here for a very obvious reason. Some of the older members might remember me, but for all the newer guys I'll save the introduction by saying I used to be a huge LSX freak. I still am, but since I'm now driving something completely different and standing as VP for my friends BMW club in the Rocky Mountain area, its hard to find time to get on here anymore.
So what exactly am I driving? And do I have plans to come back to the V8 world? I'll answer the last question first, yes. It's gonna be a while before I'm back in another LSX powered vehicle but I do have plans to come back to this site on a regular basis with something that isn't made across the pond.
This is my new toy...
2005 BMW 330Ci 6spd. I've had it since July of last year and it currently has 45K miles on the clock. Other than the appearance mods you see it has a race exhaust and that's it. It's definitely not as fast as my Trans Am was but what it makes up for in straight line speed is kicking ass in the corners. The ///M suspension and Pilot Sport AS+ tires make this car handle like its on rails; just about as good as my dad's old '00 Corvette.
But there's my short little "I'm alive but I'm a traitor" story. To my buddies from days past (Luos, TSS, etc.) I'll be back in the V8 crowd soon enough.

With this recent $hit about BMW possibly coming out with a FWD 0-Series, I think I'm just about ready to get rid of it and find another Bird. I don't wanna even be associated with the badge if they move forward with the concept.

Closest thing I could get to an M3. Looking back on it though I would have rather spent my money on a Z06. 225hp in a 3300lb car isn't the greatest (best time at bandimere was a 16.5 ).
Because mine has the factory sport suspension, the wheels are staggered. Front tires = 225, Rears = 245. The only problem I've had so far running on these tires is that my passenger side rear has been plugged twice from running over 2 screws in almost the exact same spot. I think some asshole purposely put them in a parking spot so I could run over them.
I'm probably gonna hold onto this thing as my DD at least until I finish school (gets 30mpg ) and get myself a bike to mess around on during riding season. After that I'm gonna start looking for my Electron Blue Z.
