Blue- 2000 Camaro SS Convertibl
The old 60's era Z-28's go for more money nowadays vs. the SS's because of their rarity (they were built for Trans Am racing at the time that had to have a C.I. not bigger than 5.0 liter). Unfortunately, many people nowadays relate the rarity as... "ohhh, the Z-28 is better than the SS, because some auction mag/website sells the Z for a higher price!" The original Z-28 were stripped dowm racers, engine wise... the SS's were much better at 0-60 times loaded with 396 V-8's. Honestly, braking and handling on both cars were piss poor compared to nowadays standards. Lets not get our panties in a bunch over some stupid badges... lets just enjoy our cars before new CAFE standards will reduce us to driving 4 cylinder turbo charged cars as "muscle cars"...enjoy
