    94 240sx

I just recently came across a 94 240sx that is in decent shape that is COMPLETLY stock. From the rims up. Little old couple owned it its whole life. Said they might part with it for $600. I did a weld job on the under carrage to make help it pass german inspection. Other than a little rust (that i just fixed) its clean inside and out. I need a little winter beater so i can park the birdy,
would this be a decent prt time car? Especaily for $600?

lol and yes, ive seen the oddly numerous other s40sx threads here. Looks like great minds think alike lol

I know its your winter car and all but those 240's make one hell of a LSx swap car!

If it's got pop ups its not a 1994 just so you know and can let the seller know and you should be able to drop the price because of what seems to be his lack of knowledge. Ohh an hatches are the best for the LSx swaps

Ah good to know. I considered showing up with $500 and see if he will take it lol. it does have pop ups. so it might be a 93 then. Maybe a midyear car that got stuck with the left overs lol

In 94 there was a couple thousand 240's made and they were all convertibles with automatic trans

If the car has a dual can it should be a 91-93 if its a single cam it's a 89-90

I would put pictures up to show you the differences but I'm on my phone. Main difference is the front bumpers are different and one has fender extensions. And then the difference in motors unless they did a swap

If it runs $600 is always a great price for a winter beater that also will get decent mpgs. I had got a 91 Celica GT 5spd for $560 and I loved that little pos. It was fun and honestly after new shocks, springs, and a new rim / tire setup it could easily out handle my TA. Was a lot of fun and wish I never sold it. No winter in.TX but my dd's are a Trailblazer and a 93 5.0 Mustang neither of which is great on gas. so for $600 I would jump on that deal just for a daily beater

Thats what im thinking. Plus, as a rear wheel drive 4 banger, should be fun as an alternative toy when the bird is down for some other reason, (like sending my PCM to frost finally lol) plus id like to start easing off the miles since i turn 100K last year.
