    2jz in a 67 camaro

I saw in Hot Rod this month they have a 67 camaro with a 2jz out of a supra in it.It puts down 850+ HP and is quite well done, although I am sure its going to get a lot of reaction.

Thats the most retarded thing I've ever seen in my life.

Thats a disgrace to the Camaro and American cars in general.

I suppose it has a sideways fart can sticking out the back as well, to complete the riceburner look

    Sadly now demodded :(

While the car is nicely done I am put off by the fact that he stated he took a restored RS/SS to do this to (cut up and such). IMHO he should have started with a clean I6 or 327/210 car. They aren't making any more of these and there is a finite supply of original RS/SS cars available....

    Exactly.

And to put a rice motor in ANY camaro should be a crime punishable by law.

    +1

And I'm actually a fan of alot of the imports. The 2jz is an awesome motor. Noone with any knowledge of it can dispute that. And lays down awesome power numbers.

    BUT!!!

as much as I like alot of the imports, comes down to the principle of it. Theres certain things you just DO NOT DO!

yea i saw it. what a fag. 2jz is prob the best ricer motor, but runnin 850 horses on 30+ psi FILLIN WITH C16 is not my idea of streetable power. woulda been better to turbo an ls1 and make 800 on pump gas. . . .that guy is an idiot.
