    Strut compressor

    I am going to have to replace the front struts on my truck soon. What compressors do you guys use? Or do you just take it to a shop and have them switched out?

    Truck springs are h-e-a-v-y d-u-t-y and I do not dare tackle them with either of the external spring compressors that I have. One of the few things I would take to a competent garage to let them do.

    Yeah, I also recommend not doing it yourself since it'll be disastrous if something happens.
