That looks decent. Also get on Northern Tool . com. They have really good prices and a very decent quality of tool.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy your basic tools off Matco, Snap on, or Mac. A wrench is a wrench.... a chrome socket is a chrome socket.

Cheap shit from k-mart.
The greenish flimsy plastic case looks gay, but the tools are as good as the expensive ones.

I have many craftsman tools. I swear I run over my 5 pound hammer at least 1 time every 6 months with an excavator and destroy it. They ask no questions. The big three tool companies are more for professional's ( mechanics ) that enjoy getting bent over, raped and pillaged of their money's.

My dad had been a GM mechanic for 27 years and owned his own shop for the past 5, I'm quite sure he know's his shit when it comes to tools. He's owned them all and always goes back to Snap-on.

Well, thats fine and dandy. Never did I say they were bad tools. Never. They ARE great tools. But they ARE way over priced. All im trying to tell this dude is not to buy off matco ans snap on trucks. Thats it. Your taking it alittle personally for some reason.
Anyone who disagrees with the pricing being outragous on the snapon/Matco/Mac trucks has obviously never been a mechanic.

Oh, your right, they are spendy as hell and if anyone just needs to buy a basic set is dumb to spend that much. Mac/Snap-On are for pro's, not for beginners/hobbyists. But to say they aren't better and that a 'wrench is a wrench', is pretty far out there. Quality costs money.
