    Lift for garage?

We're about to break ground on a new house, and I've been thinking very hard about putting a lift in the garage.

Any ideas on prices? Manufacturers? I've done a little bit of googling, but so far, everything has been 'call for pricing'. It's after hours most places, so I thought I'd give here a shot.

I bought an off brand 2 post lift, but if I could do it over I would get an eagle. My lift works great but it leaks a little cause of the poor quality fittings. Now before everyone says why use it cause it works fine and when its up the locks hold the weight not the hydralics. Also make sure the concrete is thick enough and the proper psi rating. The last time I looked the eagle ones were around $3,000 mine was like $1,900. It is soooo much better than jackstands though.

I was going to point that out. If you're breaking ground make sure they pour your garage extra thick.

even if you dont decide on a lift before your house is complete, just make sure its lift-ready for when you do get one. theyve mentioned concrete thickness, dont forget overhead clearance!

We have a Direct Lift in my garage. Works great, goes up fast and has 2 locking mechanisms for safety. We had to have new concrete put in for the two lift posts so it would be the proper PSI rating.

I like Rotary stuff. I checked out a bunch of lifts before putting mine in and Rotary seemed to be the best. Besides concrete make sure the ceiling height is plenty high(if the hood is open when lifting a car). Where I work we have rotarys and they have Challengers at our training center. Even though the Rotary looks smaller they seem to flex less. They have all the specs including concrete reqs. on their site. Also, get the lines routed overhead less stuff in the way when using a trans jack etc.

I'm not too worried. My wife didn't want this in the backyard so we bought a piece of comm. property and build this. The 68 Camaro is her's. She's hot, smart and makes more bank than me.

Stole it...I mean bought it off the net like 7 years ago with that paint job. Was a former S/G car in NJ. I bought it fro upstate NY. A shame I haven't driven that car yet...it's almost done. Long story behind the car.
Shady...maybe adopt another tax write off.
