    We behaved.

I'm gonna keep this car as a firebird and not convert it to a t/a with the shaker hood and vented fenders etc. I have a 3.42 posi rear that other forum member TLS_Addict gave me out of a 2nd gen camaro he had at one time. I'm gonna wait on the install, though. I think I want to convert it to disc brakes at some point.

The only rust on the car is low on the door in the front corners (common) and around the rear window trims. Some surface rust near the trunk hinges and a bit on the firewall near the drivers door top hinge. All of that will be addressed when it comes time for the paintjob. As for now, it's visually a 100' car and runs/drives great. I can't complain though, I got a 3rd place trophy at Carlisle for the 70-81 Modified Firebird/Trans Am class.

Zach, car looks great! Congrats on taking third! Did you get a good look at dale griffith's 76? That thing is amazing!

No I didn't. Was that the black one at the show? He left before I made my way up to the front of the show.

As promised...new pictures from the Beaver Springs Dragway pit-area. Ran a days best of 15.22 @ 94mph, topping my previous best of 15.7.

you should take it down the track forwards next time to see what it'd do......i'm just assuming that 15.2 was in reverse right?

Once he installs the new rear I see a 100 mph pass coming.

It is a very sharp looking car -- and I agree, the color on it is perfect.
