I'm suprised you've never seen it. I happen to like Quentin Tarantino as well as Kurt Russell.

Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) is driving (strapped into a racing harness surrounded by a cage) and Pam (Rose McGowan) is riding shotgun sitting on a tractor seat. Mike informs Pam the the car is "100% death proof, but to get the benefit of it, honey, you really need to be sittin’ in my seat!" He then slams on the brakes, smashing her skull on the dashboard and killing her.

Ha, not only have I never seen it, I've never even heard of it. I have to admit, the skull and lightening bolts on the hood are a big turn off for me anyway.

I need a better shop vac. The mini one that I have just isn't cutting it. Once I get it, I'll vacuum the carpet and take it out. The carpet maybe salvagable, but we'll see.

Death proof & Planet terror were part of the Grindhouse films that Quentin Tarantino but out in theaters for one weekend then I believe they went straight to dvd. They are Old school style films.

I did get the shop vac .. It cleaned up the carpet very well, and I think I'll be able to salvage it as well.

I didn't get too much done on the car because my mom was in town for a few days.

I started to take the front off, but it'll take some time.

Awesome project car OP... I wish I had the funds, knowledge, and time to do something like that. It hurts to think how cool would it be to take something like this and turn it into a Death Proof Nova replica...
I don't have the funds, nor the knowledge ... I'm going to learn as I go and hopefully not make too many mistakes.

I'll do what I can, when I can do it as far as money is concerned.

But it's something that I've wanted to do for a while now, so I just did it.

I haven't seen it either, but since there's a nova in there. I'm gonna have to get it on Blu-Ray
